Gabriela has experience with a wide range of individuals and families, who come from various backgrounds including race, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion/spirituality, and culture. She specializes in anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, life transitions, communication, and relationships. Throughout the therapeutic process, Gabriela assists clients in finding their own voice, establishing boundaries, increasing resilience, and creating their own definition of happiness.
My Background and Approach
Gabriela Vasquez, LCMFT, CFTP, is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Family Trauma Professional who enjoys working with adolescents, young adults, and families. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Towson University, and Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. Gabriela’s approach to therapy is one that is warm, compassionate, validating, and empowering. Gabriela incorporates different approaches, tailored specifically to each client’s needs (Solution-Focused, Narrative Therapy, CBT, and Mindfulness-Based Techniques).
