About My Clients
I work with a variety of clients ranging from ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, relationship problems, school problems, divorce, re-connection, trauma and more. I work hard to create a safe environment so we can develop a relationship of trust. Together we can find strategies and tools in order to manage whatever is the challenge. I am a strong listener and respect your goals and pace never imposing my agenda.
My Background and Approach
I am certified in DBT, CBT, Mindfulness,EMDR and Somatic therapy. I am also a Trauma Sensitive Yoga instructor and I have extensive training in Ketamine and work with preparation, application and integration, following a strict protocol to ensure safety and positive results. I am also fluent in Spanish and through my life lived in four different countries, therefore, enjoy working with a population with diverse cultural background. I worked 10 years for the County of San Mateo in the youth mental health department. In addition to being a yoga teacher, I also have training on Ketamine assisted therapy and psychedelic integration. I work in a holistic way not only doing talk therapy but also in a more experiential way integrating mind and body. I support clients in changing unhealthy habits, regulate themselves and be more self compassionate in order to live life to the fullest.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My personal belief is that everything has a solution if we work hard. I love my job and I take it seriously and with the fullest commitment and responsibility. I go out of my way to connect with my clients and be fully present when we are working together. Through out my career I have volunteer as a mentor for teens doing yoga. I was an adjunct professor at CIIS teaching child and adolescent psychology. I was on the board for RISE a non profit organization bringing mindfulness and yoga to underserved schools in the Bay Area. I have tough yoga at juvenile halls for woman and ran a mindfulness group for woman who had gone through hospitalization due to suicide attempts. I also volunteer for a non profit organization offering refugees with therapy.
