About My Clients
I specialize in the areas of anxiety, stress management, self-esteem, life transitions, communication, and relationships. I assist clients in finding their voice, learning how to better navigate daily stressors, and improving their ability to connect with others. We will work together to build self-awareness, process important life factors and experiences, discover and celebrate all the different aspects of your identity, and create a thorough sense of balance and wellness.
My Background and Approach
My goal is to support individuals in creating long-lasting solutions by tapping into personal strengths, discovering and integrating positive lifestyle habits, and encouraging the consistent reinforcement of these resources. The primary treatment approaches I utilize are based in CBT, ACT, and Mindfulness. With Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I focus on the connection between thought patterns and behaviors. Using Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness, I assist clients in finding acceptance of their own thoughts and feelings, and ability to be present and aware without judgment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have lived experienced as part of the Biracial/Latinx community and a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP); these help me to empathize with clients who are wanting to discover more parts of their identity, or who often feel overwhelmed and overstimulated by their environments. I am also passionate about my roles as a wife and mother, and use these experiences to connect and share compassion with women who are in/preparing to be in these roles.
