About My Clients
Do you struggle with anxiety or depression, which then impacts communication and decision making skills, and potentially impacts important relationships in your life? Are you experiencing life adjustments that are leaving you feeling lost, confused, or out of control? I am here to help you develop an understanding regarding your symptoms and how these impact your life. By learning to live by your values, you will learn to better manage your symptoms and live a more meaningful and balanced life.
My Background and Approach
As a person-centered therapist, I deeply value the therapeutic relationship. In order to open up and work through life’s challenges, it’s essential to feel safe, supported, and understood. I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) into my work, helping you build skills to tolerate difficult thoughts and emotions rather than avoiding them. Together, we’ll clarify your values, or what truly matters to you, and take meaningful steps toward living in alignment with those values. I believe everyone deserves support, no matter where they are in their journey. I offer unconditional positive regard, validation, and empathy, while gently encouraging growth and self-reflection. My goal is to create a space where you can show up fully as yourself, without fear of judgment. Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. I’ll be here with you every step of the way!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that therapy is for everyone. Regardless of where you’re at in life, there is no shame in needing or wanting additional support. I am someone who values authenticity and people showing up exactly as they are. I am an LGBTQ+ ally and work with a diverse clientele. I am open to working with any individual that is interested in working with me and committing to the therapeutic process.
