My Background and Approach
I have a strength-based, trauma-informed, culturally aware, LGBTQ+ affirmative, sex positive, kink positive, feminist perspective. I have trained and practiced in a variety of treatment methods that offer us a variety of ways to meet your goals whether as an individual, couple, or family. My passion is to support you in healing the wounds of the past, fostering a loving relationship with yourself and with others, and becoming comfortable in your own skin. And if you have a partner, you deserve happiness as a couple. If you are a parent of a child who is in need of support I want to be able to support your entire family in working together to find the best path for all of your happiness and success.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a first-generation American, I have a firsthand knowledge of the challenges of cultural integration and the impact it can have on your self-esteem. I am also passionate about supporting people in substance abuse recovery, as well as working with those healing from trauma. I have a lot of experience working with members of “geek” and fandom communities.
