About My Clients
My clients are often first responders, teens, parents, professionals, and LBGTQ+ individuals who are used to being the "strong one." On the outside, you keep it together; inside you're carrying cumulative stress, burnout, or past trauma. Whether you are on the front lines, navigating demanding roles, or working through life and identity transitions, you don't have to carry it alone. I offer a grounded, affirming space where you can take off the armor, set clear boundaries, and genuinely heal.
My Background and Approach
With 11 years of clinical experience including trauma, and 7 years specializing in EMDR, I provide down-to-earth, evidence-based therapy to help you move out of survival mode. I integrate EMDR with practical tools from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), CBT, and DBT to create an approach tailored directly to your goals. We won't just talk in circles about your stress-we actively target how your brain and body hold onto things like trauma, burnout, lack of support or anything else that may contribute to your problems. My style is warm, transparent, and collaborative. I offer a grounded, non-judgmental space where you can take off the armor, be fully yourself, and unpack what feels heavy at your own pace. Together, we focus on getting to the root of what keeps you stuck, developing tangible tools for your body to recenter itself and be more functional in areas of your life. Our goal isn't just surviving the day, but building lasting emotional resilience and peace of mind.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone deserves a place where they are seen, valued, and genuinely supported. Too often, our systems overlook those who need support most-leaving marginalized communities, frontline workers, and chronic caregivers feeling isolated. When your daily life revolves around showing up for everyone self, it is easy to neglect your own well-being and forget that you also deserve care. The strategies you've used to get through tough times are understandable adaptations to high-pressure environments, not personal shortcomings. I don't believe in sterile clinics, rigid labels, or moral judgment. I am simply here to provide steady, unpretentious support and practical tools so you have a quiet harbor to decompress. You don't have to put on a brave face or prove that you have everything under control here. My approach is rooted in mutual respect and clear, compassionate guidance-helping you step back from constant self-sacrifice, heal what hurts, and invest in your own peace.
