Domestic violence can leave survivors feeling adrift and silenced. I specialize in helping individuals break the cycle of abuse and reclaim their lives. I provide a secure environment to process the unique trauma of domestic conflict, focusing on safety planning, emotional regulation, and rebuilding self-worth. My goal is to serve as an advocate and guide, helping you move from the storm of an abusive environment toward a stable, empowered future rooted in your own values.

I provide a trauma-informed "Safe Harbor" for survivors of sexual abuse, focusing on the restoration of agency and personal voice. My approach acknowledges the profound impact of betrayal trauma and the complexities of the healing journey. By utilizing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) within a compassionate framework, I help clients navigate the psychological aftermath of abuse, working toward a place of safety, dignity, and "still waters" where true recovery can begin.

As a former firefighter, I bring a "trenches" perspective to treating PTSD and operational stress. I understand the weight that first responders and survivors of significant trauma carry. I specialize in helping clients process "nasty accidents," life-altering events, and the persistent symptoms of post-traumatic stress. Using ACT and a Biblical worldview, I offer a structured yet empathetic path to managing triggers and reclaiming a life that feels consistent with your personal mission.

ACT is the cornerstone of my practice because it moves beyond mere symptom management toward building a life of meaning. I help clients develop psychological flexibility—the ability to be present with difficult thoughts and feelings without being controlled by them. By identifying your core values and taking committed action toward them, we work together to ensure that your past experiences or current storms no longer dictate your future direction.

I utilize CBT to help clients identify and restructure the unhelpful thought patterns that often follow trauma and abuse.
