About My Clients
I work with young adults and adults of all ages navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, life transitions, relationship concerns, grief and loss, ADHD, LGBTQ, and questions related to purpose and meaning. As a former music educator, I also have experience working with musicians, artists, performers, and other creative individuals.
My Background and Approach
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity. Rather than seeing people as problems to be fixed, I believe everyone brings unique strengths, experiences, and resilience. Together, we'll build on those strengths, better understand the influences shaping your life, and take intentional steps toward creating lasting change. I take an integrative, relational approach to therapy, drawing from psychodynamic, person-centered, and cognitive behavioral based therapies to meet each client's individual needs. I value understanding clients within the context of their culture, relationships, and life experiences while using evidence-based practices that support their goals. If you're looking for a therapist who values authenticity, curiosity, and a strong therapeutic relationship, I would be honored to work with you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Many people come to therapy wishing they had addressed something sooner: a difficult relationship, unhappiness or anxiety, questions of identity, or patterns of behavior that no longer work for them. While we cannot change the past, we can begin to understand it, learn from it, and make different choices moving forward. I believe that therapy provides a space to better understand ourselves and make meaningful changes in the present. I believe growth begins with self-understanding, acceptance, honest exploration, and a collaborative therapeutic relationship built on trust and authenticity.
