I help adults and couples understand old patterns, build steadier relationships and make changes that feel like their own.

About My Clients

You may understand why a pattern began and still feel unable to change it. Perhaps you overthink relationships, shut down during conflict, people-please, or struggle with ADHD, shame, family dynamics or the aftereffects of trauma. I work with adults, teens and couples—including queer and neurodivergent clients—who want more self-trust, clearer boundaries and relationships that feel less exhausting.

My Background and Approach

My style is warm, direct and conversational. We will slow down enough to understand what is driving a reaction, then work out what would help in everyday life. I draw from psychodynamic and attachment-based therapy, ACT, CBT, DBT, family systems, Gottman-informed work, somatic approaches and mindfulness. That may mean tracing a present conflict back to an older protective pattern, practicing a difficult conversation or building tools for regulation and executive functioning. I offer honest feedback, explain the “why,” and adapt the pace and structure to what you need that day. Please book your first session with me on my website.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy should feel human: serious about what hurts, but spacious enough for humor, curiosity and the parts of you that are still becoming. As a queer, neurodivergent and late-diagnosed clinician with lived experience of mental health recovery, I know that coping strategies can be both protective and limiting. My aim is not to make you more conventional; it is to help you understand yourself, choose what still fits and build a life that feels more honest. Outside of sessions, writing, books, time with loved ones and caring for my dog help keep me grounded.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
