In my practice, I use Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients identify and connect with their inner parts—such as protectors, exiles, and the Self. For trauma work, we explore how protective parts have developed in response to pain and gently access exiled parts holding trauma. By fostering compassion and curiosity from the Self, clients can heal wounded parts, reduce internal conflict, and build a greater sense of inner safety and integration.
