About My Clients
Serenity Behavioral Health provides personalized mental health & substance use therapy for teens and young adults ages 14-30. Our Intensive Outpatient program (IOP) meets 3-4 times a week & is an effective option for teens & young adults who might be off-track & experiencing life disruption. Our Outpatient program meets 1-2 times a week & helps maintain progress made in IOP. We are in-network with most major insurers for MH & SU treatment. My Background and Approach
Serenity Behavioral Health began in 2020 after years of working with adolescents, young adults and families struggling with mental health and substance use disorders. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist I found success in treating teens and young adults from a systems perspective and recognized a need for treatment that’s tailored to each client and addresses family, work/school and social systems. Serenity Behavioral Health is the product of years of personal and professional experience and the dream to help others live a life that is happy, joyous and free! My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Family involvement is an integral part our program and has a positive impact on sustained recovery from mental health and/or substance use issues. Rather than treating just the individual we can help families identify unhealthy patterns and learn to support one another in order to create positive long lasting change. Our Parents Group meets bi-weekly and provides education and support throughout the treatment process. Parents will have the opportunity to share their experiences, increase their knowledge of mental health and substance use issues, participate in skill building exercises and learn to support one another in order to create positive long lasting change.
