About My Clients
My clients are curious individuals seeking a deeper, more engaged therapeutic experience- one that goes beyond the therapist as a passive listener. Those I work with value being challenged and appreciate a dynamic, conversational approach to therapy that fosters authenticity, insight, and transformation. While I primarily work with queer and LGBTQ+ folks, my practice is inclusive of anyone looking for meaningful connection and growth.
My Background and Approach
I take a strength-based, relational approach, tailoring treatment to your needs while fostering a strong, authentic connection. I’m direct, I use humor, and I believe therapy should be an engaging, collaborative process. My goal is to help you build confidence, improve communication, and strengthen your sense of self-worth so you can navigate relationships and life with more clarity and empowerment. I hold a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy, a Certificate in trauma-informed practice, and extensive training in trans-affirming care. I am also currently pursuing certification as a sex therapist. Since 2016, I’ve worked with developmentally disabled adults in home and school settings, high-risk youth in wilderness therapy, and individuals, couples, and families in clinical offices. This wide-ranging experience means I’m well-equipped to adapt my approach to suit your unique challenges, whether you’re facing relationship struggles, self-esteem issues, or life transitions.
