About My Clients
As a retired Army veteran, I understand that finding a renewed sense of purpose, connection, and identity after military life can be difficult. I do not claim to have all the answers; instead, I provide a curious, respectful, and nonjudgmental space where your experiences matter and your path forward is your own.
My Background and Approach
I work with individuals, couples, families, and groups from young adulthood through later life, supporting concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, addiction, anger, chronic pain, and relationship difficulties. Whether you are processing military experiences, rebuilding your marriage, or learning who you are beyond the uniform, we can work together toward greater connection, resilience, and meaning. I offer both in-person and telehealth sessions and am currently accepting new clients.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a retired Army veteran and therapist, I understand that service can shape every part of life—relationships, identity, stress, and the transition home. I provide compassionate therapy for veterans, first responders, and their families in the Georgetown area. Grounded in systemic therapy, I work with clients in the context of the relationships, communities, and experiences that matter most to them. While I cannot fully know your individual experiences, I understand many of the challenges veterans may face when transitioning out of military service. Together, we can develop effective ways to navigate this change and build a meaningful, fulfilling life beyond the military.
