About My Clients
You’ve been holding it together for a long time — getting things done, taking care of others/work/bills/car/school/pets/plants... self? Maybe next week. But underneath, you're burnt out, on edge, maybe full of anger/sadness/fear. Everyone is trying to sell you something to fix your problem, perhaps you've even tried some things. Perhaps you've tried therapy, and it wasn't a good fit. You keep on going even though the world feels crazy and maybe you do too. Something has to change.
My Background and Approach
My work isn’t about blaming the past or staying stuck in old stories. We examine what is being held on to and how it's running your life. It’s about understanding how your mind, body, and emotions all work together — and learning how to respond to life with more calm, clarity, and strength. In our sessions, we talk about everything: stress, relationships, habits, how you think and what you feel in your body. It’s a space to slow down, get real, and begin seeing yourself more clearly. By applying insights and practices, you may notice the noise in your mind quiets. You stop being knocked down by every wave of life, and learn to ride the tide. Give me a call - I keep it real. This is therapy without the fluff. We curse, we cry, we laugh. Sometimes all we need is a bit of deeper understanding of ourselves to let go of the old and evolve. We cannot grow if we are not changing how we think, believe, and act. If you’re ready to feel more grounded and alive in your own life, I am here to help
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am always learning, growing and evolving. I dive deep into philosophy and spirituality. I nerd out on ways to get my mind to shut the hell up. I absolutely practice everything that I preach. Always striving for better ways to operate my human, my personal habits are mostly deliberate, technology free, and involved sustained attention. I observe more than I involve myself in anything. I am a good therapist, and am grateful to have found myself thriving at the intersection of what I am passionate about and what I can do for a living. I strive to be a woman of integrity, and believe everything I have experienced in the past has had some integral part in shaping who I am today. I am an openly neurodivergent therapist who is actively engaged in addiction recovery lifestyle, a survivor of narcissistic abuse, and a Highly Sensitive Person. I love so many things - music, the ocean, handwriting, books, making mediocre yet technically correct French omelettes, and my Coton de Tulear, Bebél.
