About My Clients
Your reason for coming to counseling is unique to you, and thus the therapeutic process will be as well. My intention is to meet you where you are at; creating a safe space to address whatever life experiences or symptoms you may bring in. I've worked with children, teens, & adults in a variety of settings including home, community, residential, and outpatient; treating an array of symptoms (i.e. anxiety, depression, trauma, Perinatal mood/anxiety disorders, struggles with life transitions.)
My Background and Approach
I consider myself a, "Life-long learner," and put much effort in staying trained & educated in leading practices within the therapy field. There are SO many ways to facilitate healing within the therapeutic setting. I often utilize EMDR, Parts Work, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered, Solution-Focused, and Interpersonal methods. We will utilize the techniques and skills that appear most appropriate in assisting in your healing process.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My goal as a counselor is to provide you with a safe and compassionate space where you can find peace, healing, and hope. While this journey is yours, you do not have to face it alone. I believe that each individual is unique and special; therefore, I prefer an eclectic and collaborative approach to counseling; developing the treatment plan to reflect your unique needs.
