About My Clients
I work with neurodivergent children who are often trying to find their place in a world that doesn’t always see or understand them. As a registered play therapist, I meet both parents and children exactly where they are — helping uncover and nurture each child’s natural strengths. Together, we work to build confidence, emotional regulation, and connection. Many of the families I support are navigating challenges like emotional outbursts, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns!
My Background and Approach
Is your child neurodivergent, or going through a tough time with anxiety, depression, adhd, and other changes causing for concern? Maybe they're struggling with big life events like a divorce, changes at home, or the loss of a loved one—and you're feeling unsure how to help them through it. You're not alone. I work with families to navigate emotional and behavioral challenges with compassion and practical support. Whether it’s co-parenting concerns or helping your child adjust to new situations, I’m here to help. For children, I use play-based approaches to help them explore their feelings in a way that feels natural! Through play therapy, I create a safe, welcoming space where both you and your child can feel supported. Play is how kids naturally communicate, so i use it to help them share what they're thinking and feeling in a way that makes sense to them. I truly believe every child has their own special strengths, their “super abilities” and i use those to help them!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every child holds unique strengths — their own “superpowers” — to navigate big emotions and heal from difficult experiences that can impact their development. In a world where children are often misunderstood or judged, I create a safe and welcoming space where they can express the challenges, they may feel too nervous or overwhelmed to share elsewhere. I also recognize that the relationship between parent, child, and therapist is the foundation for meaningful progress. By working together, we can address your concerns and support your child’s growth with care, connection, and confidence.
