About My Clients
I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, crisis situations, and the impact of domestic violence. Many of my clients are seeking support during difficult life transitions or relational stress. I provide individual therapy in a safe, culturally responsive space where clients can build coping skills, strengthen resilience, and move toward greater emotional wellbeing.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling with a specialization in Marriage and Family from Cambridge College, along with a Certificate in Domestic Violence. My experience includes supporting individuals affected by crisis, trauma, and family conflict across the lifespan. My approach is client-centered and humanistic, integrating Existential principles, mindfulness practices, family systems theory, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I emphasize strengths-based work, helping clients recognize the unique contexts shaping their lives while developing practical strategies for growth and healing. I thoughtfully incorporate cultural considerations into therapy and strive to create an environment where individuals feel respected, understood, and supported.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that each person carries inner strengths and resilience, even during the most challenging seasons of life. Therapy provides an opportunity to reconnect with those strengths and explore new ways of experiencing meaning and wholeness. I strive to create a compassionate, collaborative space where clients feel safe examining their experiences, values, and relationships. Through reflection and skill-building, meaningful change becomes possible. If you are ready to begin your journey toward greater balance and emotional wellbeing, I would be honored to support you.
