I work primarily with adults over 18 who have issues with relationships, codependency, depression, anxiety, work stress, women's issues and overall stress.
I have a strong background in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and include supportive therapy as well to address challenges with a collaborative approach. I have been licensed since 2005 and have over 20 years of experience.

I treat clients with anxiety by helping them understand how they have developed perceptions and interpretations that trigger anxiety and ways to manage their anxiety with tools that are effective, evidence based and can be used anywhere.
I treat my clients with depression by helping them understand the relationship with their thoughts and how their perceptions impact their feelings and behaviors. I help empower them to build their self esteem, self worth and to manage the negative thoughts that maintain the depressive symptoms as well as developing healthier habits.
I use CBT with my clients by explaining the relationship with their thoughts, their feelings and how it impacts their behaviors. I teach them how these thoughts were formulated from childhood experiences and how they perceive the world. I also work collaboratively with my clients to give them the tools to shift these thoughts and perspectives by using evidenced -based cognitive reframing skills as well as mindfulness practices.
I work with my clients on identifying copendent behaviors and the purpose these behaviors serve to fulfill a need to please others. I help them understand how these behaviors were developed based on their experience growing up and how to break the patterns of codependency that Impacts their functioning. I help them develop healthy boundaries, assertiveness skills and improving on self esteem and self worth.
