About My Clients
We specialize in working with elders, their caregivers, and family members in their homes or assisted living facilities, in nature, and online. We empower you to navigate the complexities of transitioning into assisted living, cope with terminal diagnoses, find balance in caregiving, process grief and loss, and embrace the aging or dying process with grace and dignity.
My Background and Approach
We cultivate a non-judgmental environment where you can freely express yourself, gain insights, and develop practical coping strategies. We tailor our therapy sessions to meet your specific needs, integrating evidence-based techniques including EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and somatic therapy to address grief, loss, anxiety, and depression.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As caregivers ourselves, we have worked closely with elders and their loved ones for years, and understand the many challenges, and opportunities, that can arise around the later stages of life. We are also trained as nature-based mental health therapists and through a love for the natural world, humans included, we feel deeply connected to the cycle of life and death that is inherent for us, and all beings. Our therapists have experience working with clients from a wide array of social backgrounds and mental health experiences.
