About My Clients
I work with teens, and adults who are seeking a supportive, affirming space to explore their emotions, identities, and lived experiences. Many of my clients identify as women and/or LGBTQIA+ and may be processing stress, trauma, burnout, or major life changes. My clients often value authenticity, curiosity, and a therapeutic relationship that feels collaborative rather than clinical.
My Background and Approach
My approach is grounded in trauma-informed care and the belief that people already carry the capacity for growth and healing. I draw from art therapy, relational therapy, and mindfulness-based practices to support clients in reconnecting with themselves in a gentle, non-judgmental way. I value collaboration and transparency in the therapeutic relationship and aim to create a space where clients feel seen, respected, and empowered. Sessions may include conversation, art-making, or a blend of both, depending on what feels most supportive in the moment. As a trained creative arts therapist, my work is grounded in evidence-informed, trauma-responsive practices. I support clients who may struggle to access emotions through talk therapy alone and benefit from integrating creative expression alongside verbal processing. I bring a calm, attuned presence to sessions and emphasize nervous system regulation, emotional awareness, and strengthening coping skills.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that every person has the capacity to heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves when given a safe and supportive space. I believe in meeting clients with curiosity, compassion, and respect, and that therapy works best when it feels collaborative rather than prescriptive. I see art, creativity, and self-expression as powerful tools for insight, regulation, and personal growth.
