I’m a Licensed Psychologist with a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Hartford. I have 13 years of experience working closely with primary medical providers in interdisciplinary settings. This gives me the advantage of being able to see things from the point of view of the person seeking treatment as well as the medical professionals involved in care. People of all backgrounds, ethnicities, religions, and sexual orientation are welcome to join in the opportunity to live well. My specialty trainings, include completion of the Mental Health Provider Diabetes Education Program sponsored by the American Diabetes Association and the American Psychological Association. I also have behavioral health pain management training and participated in a 6-week didactic, consultation group through the Mountain Area Health Education Center. I utilize mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology, and EMDR in my treatment, and individualize it to each person

I live well with Type 1 Diabetes and other autoimmune illnesses, and can be your ally in the process of living well. I believe in equality of healthcare access for all people. I volunteer with JDRF and other medical rights advocacy groups.
