You likely look like you have it all together, but inside you’re worn down, overthinking, and one more expectation away from burnout. I specialize in working with teens and adults—particularly first-generation individuals and those within the Hispanic, Latinx, and BIPOC communities. Many of my clients have spent a lifetime being the "strong ones" out of necessity. You may find it hard to slow down, ask for help, or set boundaries without feeling a deep sense of guilt.
My Background and Approach
Whether you are navigating school, a high-pressure career, or the complex dynamics of your family, you deserve a space where you don't have to be "on." As a Latinx and bilingual therapist, I understand that your healing doesn't happen in a vacuum. It is often the weight of carrying your family’s dreams alongside your own. In this room, you don’t have to perform. You don’t need the "right" words, and you don’t have to share everything at once. My approach is trauma-informed and relational. We will move at your pace, focusing on what feels most important to you right now. Together, we will work on calming your anxiety, navigating family expectations and cultural loyalty while reclaiming your own time, and helping you feel steadier and more secure in your relationships.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am passionate about helping you dig into the ideas you grew up with so you can decide which ones to keep and which ones to let go. I believe that being kind to yourself is a radical act, especially when you’ve been taught to put everyone else first. You’ve spent long enough taking care of the world; I’d be honored to help you finally take care of you.
