About My Clients
I especially enjoy helping individuals who are developing their racial or ethnic identities as well as interracial or multicultural couples work through the challenges of blending two cultures in marriage. I work with clients in both English and Spanish, helping them gain clarity to confidently live the life they choose. I know from my own path to wellness that my therapy experience has freed me to live with intention. I feel honored to walk alongside others as they move toward self-discovery
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy includes a strength-based framework where I seek to help my clients identify and build upon their natural strengths. I also use innovation and imagination to help empower clients to move through situations that seem impossible.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Our practice, Neema Counseling, is a Christian counseling practice that was founded with a vision to help those who are hurting. “Neema” is the Swahili word for “grace”. It is our desire that all clients, regardless of their faith or background, experience the Neema Counseling office as a place filled with grace that leads to hope and healing.
