About My Clients
I provide creative, gender-affirming therapy for queer and trans folks; trauma therapy; and short-term solution focused therapy for partners and family members to process a loved one’s coming out. I work with folks whose past traumas are getting in the way of feeling secure, safe, and authentic; people who may be questioning their gender identity, struggling with the coming out process, or looking to learn more about how to support someone they love.
My Background and Approach
I use a combination of cognitive-behavioral and somatic approaches to partner with and empower you. In each of our sessions, we’ll check in about your emotions, goals, challenges, and successes. Together we will practice techniques to explore emotions and identity, manage anxiety, set boundaries, and help you live your most whole, authentic life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in that we all have the inherent capacity to heal, and that reaching out for support is a brave and vulnerable thing to do. I’m active in my local queer/trans communities, a volunteer for Trans Lifeline, and work hard to be a racial justice ally.
