About My Clients
We provide critical mental health care for the LGBTQIA+ community with WPATH evaluations for trans-affirming surgery and referrals for Rx and HRT. We provide psychoeducation, gendered social skills development plans, and family reunification counseling. We also specialize in suicide prevention and support.
My Background and Approach
I employ research-informed and evidence-based practices to ameliorate my standard of care and will help you in increasing your level of care. I have 26 years living in Alaska and traveling to over 120 villages. Rural healthcare introduces many challenges not taught in courses. I can help you with tackling those challenges. I bring with me a doctorate, two master's degrees, and numerous certifications. Additionally, I have been committed to direct client support since 2005, and autism support since 2010, and conducted over 14,000 risk and suicide assessments. A few of my specialties are addiction, ADHD, autism, intellectual/developmental disability, gaming disorders, suicidality, and stress management.
