About My Clients

Do you feel disconnected from yourself, your body, others, or the world? Having difficulty letting go of old stories and experiences? Are you stuck in patterns or behaviors that no longer serve you as they once have? Are you struggling with overwhelming feelings, negative thoughts, and not feeling that you are enough? I would be honored to support you in your journey to cultivate meaningful and sustainable change. I offer online therapy in Washington state for adults (18+) of all genders.

My Background and Approach

I take an eclectic and holistic approach to my practice, believing in addressing the wellbeing of one’s whole self—mind, body and spirit. Together we will co-create a healing space to explore what is holding you back and keeping you stuck and what you need to move towards liberation. I work to show up in this space in authentic, transparent, open, and nonjudgmental ways. With an understanding that liberation is a nonlinear healing journey, I center clients’ wisdom, strengths and resilience through the ups and downs. My therapeutic approach is informed by and combines influences from my lived experience and a range of theoretical frameworks including social justice, queer, feminist, relational, embodiment, and systems theories; as well as different therapeutic modalities including somatic awareness, mindfulness, narrative therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and trauma focused therapies.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

We are shaped by the world we live in and I believe that communities most impacted by trauma and oppression often turn toward coping mechanisms, such as eating disorders, as smart, adaptive survival strategies. Until those living in the most historically oppressed and marginalized bodies and identities can heal, we cannot envision collective liberation for all. My approach to healing is framed in social justice, anti-oppression, and decolonization work and is rooted in Health at Every SizeⓇ (HAES), Body TrustⓇ, fat liberation, disability justice, neurodivergent affirming, LGBTQIAP2S+ affirming & queer liberation, and trauma-informed models. The majority of the client's I work with hold one or more of the following identities and lived experiences: - Queer, trans, and gender expansive - Disabled and/or chronically ill - Neurodivergent, particularly autistic, ADHDers, or AuDHDer's - Fat

I offer online counseling in the following states:
