About My Clients
I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ and transgender and gender non-conforming folks, as well as neurodivergent clients, who are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, identity, and relationships. Some are coming out or questioning, some have been out for years, and some are looking for support around gender identity, whether that involves transition, exploration, or simply having room to feel.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado, with training in grief, gender identity, and LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent affirming care. That means you won’t have to educate me about the identities that make up who you are, so your time goes toward your own story. My foundation is client-centered: you’re the expert on your life, and you set the direction. I also draw on parts work and somatic work, so you can get to know the parts of yourself that criticize or protect, and leave with grounding practices you can use between sessions. In grief work, we make room for everything you feel without stages or timelines. I also have training in psychedelic-assisted therapy, which informs my understanding that we all possess an inner healing intelligence. My role is to help guide you toward that wisdom.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am transgender, queer and neurodivergent, all of which deeply shape how I experience the world. Context matters. So does intersectionality. Discrimination, family rejection, economic pressure, political climate, and isolation all affect mental health, and it’s not a personal failing to feel their weight. I try to hold both the personal and the larger picture, so you’re not left blaming yourself for things that were never yours alone to fix.
