I am trained in using various interventions including art, talk, guided meditation, CBT, and role playing. However, first and foremost, I am relational. This means, I want to work with you and collaborate on what healing looks like. While I may offer suggestions and skills when necessary, I believe what most people need is a gentle space to express themselves, free of judgement. My past experience in the last 6 years has been with a wide range of individuals and backgrounds with various issues ranging from anxiety, and parenting stress to depression and grief. I am also trauma informed and rooted in social justice. I have a background in political science and understand how trauma is not only single incidents such as a car crash, or medical trauma, but also how social and political systems can be a major force of ongoing trauma.
