Psychotherapy is fundamentally about developing a deeper sense of self, connecting to one's personal meaning and working though life's challenges in a supportive, caring environment. I believe there is tremendous value in designating a time to prioritize yourself and focus on your needs and goals. Therapy has the potential to cultivate a new relationship to one's experiences and thoughts, and build effective strategies to navigate life's inevitable hurdles.
My Background and Approach
My approach is guided by relational, body-centered, and trauma-informed frameworks. I support clients in learning new skills and strategies to manage what is challenging and getting in your way. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, grief/loss, trauma, climate grief, oppression, identity issues, relationship concerns, and life transitions. My style is both warm, direct and collaborative. I welcome you whether you’ve been in therapy for years or are coming in for the first time. Our work can seek to gain an understanding of how early experiences impact current circumstances, address present day concerns, and develop tools for making change. My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Therapy gave me a space to explore my choices, question why I was doing the things I was doing and recognizing the choice in the actions. I hope to offer that opportunity to my clients. I approach both my personal and professional lives with an anti-oppressive, social justice perspective. I am dedicated to challenging and deconstructing systems of oppression that hinder communities from experiencing fulfillment, confidence, and joy.
