About My Clients
I work with clients age 13 and up from all backgrounds and diverse identities. My approach with each client will be different, tailored to your personal needs and goals. My approach always takes into consideration each client's background and identity along with the societal impact of systems of oppression.
My Background and Approach
My approach to working with therapy clients is warm, accepting, and collaborative. I will work with you to identify your personal goals and to build steps for you to achieve them. I utilize a number of approaches, including Humanistic Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, (CBT) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Social Justice Oriented Therapy. I tailor my approach according to each client’s concerns, challenges, and unique sociocultural backgrounds with regard to family, race, ethnicity, class, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, and ability. I am committed to helping people approach health and growth holistically, with consideration of all of the factors that affect who they are and how they experience the world.
