About My Clients
I work with teens and adults facing trauma, anxiety, or life transitions that leave them feeling stuck or overwhelmed. My clients are often seeking clarity, healing, and support as they navigate major changes or relationship challenges. Together, we create a space for growth, using EMDR and talk therapy to help process the past, reduce distress, and move forward with confidence.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and PhD student in Counselor Education and Supervision with training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), trauma-informed care, and integrative approaches to therapy. I help teens and adults work through trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. My style is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow. In our sessions, we’ll explore what’s bringing you in, identify your goals, and work together to develop a personalized plan for healing and growth. Whether you’re processing a difficult past or navigating present-day stress, I offer a supportive space to build insight, reduce distress, and reconnect with your strengths. I also provide clinical supervision and conduct research focused on trauma recovery and expanding access to care.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a collaborative and empowering process. Everyone has the capacity for growth, healing, and change. I see each client as the expert on their own life and strive to create a safe, respectful space where you can explore your story without judgment. I believe our past can shape us, but it does not have to define us. My role is to support you in working through what is holding you back and help you move toward a more grounded, connected, and authentic life. I value honesty, empathy, and the strength of the therapeutic relationship as a foundation for meaningful change.
