My Background and Approach

Eugenia Foster is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) who has experience providing individual, group, and family counseling to a diverse group of adolescents and adults. Eugenia is currently licensed in Maryland. Washington, DC, and Virginia. Eugenia obtained her bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology from Coppin State University. She continued her education at Bowie State University, receiving her Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology. She later attended the University of Maryland, College Park, where she received a second master’s degree in Clinical Psychological Science. Eugenia is pursuing her Ph.D. at Hampton University in Counselor Education and Supervision. Eugenia is currently an owner of a private therapy practice, Fostering Oneness Support Services. Fostering Oneness’s mission is to encourage and promote the development of being unified or whole with oneself.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Eugenia’s passion for counseling derived from enduring significant childhood adversity, including homelessness and poverty. Eugenia lived in a community where mental health disorders and treatment remain taboo, and she hopes to continue to shed light on the importance of therapy and healing. When she is not working as a counselor, she spends her time mentoring youth and volunteering in low-socioeconomic communities to educate and provide access to mental health support. Eugenia is committed to bettering the lives of at-risk children, adolescents, and adults.
