About My Clients
I have experience working with trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, domestic violence. I work with several populations including the LGBTQIA and POC. Together we can create healthier boundaries, increase self-esteem, learn healthier coping skills, manage difficult emotions, address trauma symptoms, and create a more fulfilling life path.
My Background and Approach
I use an eclectic approach to therapy and include different therapies depending on each individual client. Some of the approaches that I use include CBT, DBT, Narrative therapy, some somatic work, and trauma informed therapy. With each of these approaches we will create a unique treatment plan to help you better understand your symptoms and diagnosis, gain skills for better mental health management, learn about how your symptoms are impacting your body and your mind and what approaches would be most effective in getting your system regulated again.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that we are all deserving of a safe place where we can connect with ourselves in order to better understand who we are and what we need day to day. We all have the ability to change and grow in the direction that feels best for us. Therapy can be the safe place that allows these changes to take place in order to create a more fulfilling and authentic life.
