About My Clients
I specialize in working with sexual and gender minority clients as well as those who struggle with substance use concerns. I identify as a sex positive and kink friendly therapist and enjoy working with clients who are polyamorous, are in other forms of ethical non-monogamous relationships, or are exploring relationship styles, sexual orientation, or gender identity. In working with those struggling with substance concerns I am open to both harm reduction and abstinence approaches.
My Background and Approach
I draw on a variety of therapeutic approaches including DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Feminist therapy, and Interpersonal Process (IPT). I view the therapeutic journey as one on which I collaborate with my clients to decide what approach will be the most helpful to them in building the life they want to lead. I provide individual and couples therapy to adults with a broad variety of concerns.
