About My Clients
Are you struggling with a sense of belonging and connection with others? Do you want to improve communication with your loved ones? My specialties are marriage counseling, parenting, grief & loss, traumas, and issues relating to family, life transitions, and cultural identity. I also provide therapeutic services in Korean and short-term intensive therapy.
My Background and Approach
As a certified Level 2 Restoration Therapist, my mission is to restore relationships within couples and families so they may heal and connect. I help couples and families recognize negative cycles and resolve conflicts so that they can build trust, connect, and restore intrapersonal & interpersonal relationships. Together, we will explore how one's family and childhood impact current relationships, restore connections & support systems, and reclaim a life of purpose and meaning. Additionally, I have received training in Brainspotting, a trauma-informed treatment which targets traumas in the brain and allows for deeper processing of emotional pain.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am passionate about exploring the impact of clients' attachment styles on their sense of self and others, facilitating insight around barriers, and promoting coping tools. As a 1.5 Korean American, my mission is to bridge the gap between first and second generations and help clients reclaim their truth from intergenerational trauma. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and Racial Justice Allied. I commend you for taking the first steps toward healing. It would be my privilege to assist you in your journey.
