Beginning therapy can be a frightening endeavor and finding a therapist is often an overwhelming task. While you may be ready to begin the therapeutic journey the thought of interviewing therapists to find the right fit can feel intolerable. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to make this process a little bit easier for you. I believe within the first few minutes you will know if we are a good fit and whether or not we will work well together.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is primarily psychodynamic in nature. In my practice I take the time to listen closely to your needs and tailor our sessions to meet you where you currently are. Through our work together we will move towards greater understanding of your past and its impact on your life today, this depth of work allows for greater self acceptance and more control over the decisions you make in your life. Our sessions will be spent working to increase your self awareness while strengthening your capacity to fully engage with the world. Together we will expand your window of tolerance by unpacking the feelings and thoughts that bring you discomfort, leading to a more authentic and comprehensive experience of yourself. I offer multiple times a week treatment to those hoping to delve deeper into their psyche to accept themselves as they are-oftentimes leading to a more meaningful and authentic lived experience.
