About My Clients
I specialize in helping clients heal from trauma, sexual assault/ harassment, gender-based violence, and domestic abuse. I also have experience in addressing a range of other issues, including anxiety, depression, panic disorder, struggles with body image, relational conflict, and intimacy concerns.
My Background and Approach
I am trained in EMDR, an evidence-based therapy that stimulates the brain’s natural ability to heal. I also employ mindfulness-based techniques and somatic work to help clients regulate their emotions and nervous systems. Additionally, I have extensive training in sex therapy through the sexual health alliance and am working towards an AASECT certification. With couples, I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), employing attachment-based interventions.
