About My Clients
You are an individual that wants to feel free, grounded, confident and secure. You desire to have a strong sense of self and want to feel motivated and empowered. However, at times it feels like something always gets in your way. Be it stress, family commitments or expectations, triggers related to past trauma, lack of motivation, grief or other unexpected life transitions. You would benefit from a relational, collaborative environment that will support you in identifying and reaching your goals
My Background and Approach
I am a relational therapist who truly takes the time to get to know you. I will encourage, guide, and support you through your journey of exploring and finding the path to your whole self. My style is eclectic and I utilize a strengths based approach. I am trained in EMDR, and utilize aspects of CBT, mindfulness, resource development and narrative therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a back cis gender queer women, I affirm and support members of the LGBTQQI+ community. I provide a safe, non-judgmental and social justice orientated container. Together we will create a plan and work towards healing your hurts. My experience spans across the field of social services and mental health. I have experience ranging from crisis community based response, school counseling to clinic based work.
