About My Clients
Do you ever feel like there is just so much going on inside your head that you can’t think clearly? Together we will look at how your past experiences have affected the way your brain is wired, how each connection has worked for or against you, and learn ways you can work to reprogram those connections to be more effective towards reaching your goals. Not only do I help you learn new techniques, skills, and habits, I also provide scientific information on how and why they work so well.
My Approach to Helping
It may not feel like it, but being vulnerable, and sharing your innermost thoughts, feelings, and emotions is so brave. I know you have the strength and ability to find your way, but sometimes having an experienced guide to help you through some of life’s tougher terrains is key. That’s where I come in. As you continue on your journey climbing up the Mountain of Life, allow me to be a sherpa guiding you through some of the roughest terrains, teaching you new skills, and building up your confidence to continue your climb towards greater insight, self-awareness, and growth. I take the process of earning your trust very seriously. We will take it session by session, learning together what works well for you. You deserve to feel in control of your life despite what life has thrown your way.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone can change and grow at any time in their lives. I sure have, I was a full-blown pshycho-bitch before becoming a psycho-therapist. I don't believe that there is a limit to human capacity. I think that one of the main reasons we tend to develop mental health issues is because our minds are always working to adapt and cope with the world around us. Sometimes adaptive behaviors, thoughts, and or feelings can become maladaptive. Together we can unlearn the faulty behaviors and replace them with healthy ones. I embrace all living beings. I make it a point to fully connect with, learn from, and understand every person I have the pleasure of working with.
