About My Clients
Do you feel disconnected from your Self or others? Struggle with anxiety, depression, or the impacts of trauma? Are you neurodivergent, highly sense-itive, burned out, recovering people-pleaser? Ready to navigate your internal and external worlds with more ease and flow? Welcome! Let’s process your human experience together to co-create a hopeful path forward.
My Background and Approach
I offer online, somatic-based, trauma-informed, talk therapy to Michigan residents. In sessions, we’ll collaborate to explore the various parts of you, and support your nervous-system through personalized variations of mindfulness, Self-inquiry, and body-based practices. We’ll deepen your understanding of your Self, experiences, and position to help you achieve your goals. My approach is integrative and informed through the lens of Internal Family Systems (IFS), Polyvagal Theory (PVT), and Somatic Experiencing (SE). We’ll tap into your already-existing strengths and pathways to coping, healing and thriving, while learning more along the way. Prior to therapy, my experience specialized in child welfare/foster care systems, community mental health, and in non-profit spaces with people of all identities.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that clarity, calmness, curiosity, connection, and goodness already exists within you — I aim to support you in accessing it. Your version of the human experience is welcomed, without judgement. A key piece of my educational experience — in addition to receiving my MSW and field training — has been un-learning the deeply embedded influences of the oppressive over-culture I’ve been socialized within, and I aim to hold space for the impact of these systems in therapy. Personally, I’m a neurodivergent, first-generation graduate from a working-class background - my lived experience informs my practice. I find my Self in nature - lakes, oceans, mountains, woods - and with animals, especially dogs. I look forward to working with you.
