About My Clients
I work with pre-teens and teens, adults, and their family members. I provide help for issues related to depression and anxiety spirals, self-harm, personality patterns, attachment trauma, emotional immaturity and navigating relationships with emotionally immature family members.
My Background and Approach
With a strong background in DBT and Trauma therapy, I have experience working in private practice, public school, and psychiatric hospital settings, I work together with my clients and their family members to provide therapy for teens, adults, and their family members. I have worked with individuals who struggle with: Emotional Immaturity, Attachment Trauma, Intergenerational Trauma, Suicidal thoughts and Self-Injury, and Personality Disorders in families.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My philosophy combines DBT and Trauma theories, including EMDR therapy, focused on providing the most effective treatment and support for the individual. I want to give you the space to feel validated, heard, and honored. I am accepting of all identities. I am passionate about supporting individuals and their family members. I value the importance of strong and healthy family connections, effective communication, supportive relationships that validate interdependent needs. I encourage my clients to develop a strong sense of self, and to build healthy and authentic connections with the people in their lives.
