About My Clients

Feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck? You’re tired of trying to fit in and deeply want to find where you belong. I understand the pain of constantly worrying that you’ll never be enough, especially if you’re yourself. Thankfully, there is hope, and it can get better. I help people like you recover a sense of calm, compassion and connection with yourself, those you love, and your world.

My Background and Approach

There's no judgement here, and no one-size-fits-all answer. I love working with people from many backgrounds, including multicultural (I'm a TCK and grew up in the Middle East), LGBTQ+, and differing faiths. I kindly and collaboratively help you clarify and explore your goals, hopes and dreams for your ideal life and self, and then make small (and big!) changes to move toward them. Together, we'll laugh and cry, analyze and understand. And together, we'll create a safe space for you to be yourself, heal, and thrive. It's my goal and honor to come alongside you to support and empower you on your path to wholeness. Email, call or text me today to set up a free consultation or to schedule a first session!

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

At my core, I believe that everyone has strengths, is worthy of love and belonging, and has the capacity to change. Relationships are often the source of our deepest wounds and also hold the potential for our deepest healing. We are communal beings, and thrive best within supportive relationships. From my experience growing up in the Middle East, I hold a deep appreciation for the beauty of diverse cultures and firmly oppose a USA-centric worldview that glorifies American cultural norms as the only option for “health”. After growing up in conservative religious communities, experiencing a spiritual breakdown after college, and reconstructing my faith from the rubble, I also understand how faith can be a source of immense joy or intense trauma. When I’m not doing therapy, I’m often drawing cartoons or wildflowers, writing songs on the ukulele for my family and friends, and being active in my body. I garden and feel ridiculously excited when anything survives.
