Therapy is a space where we can really slow down and spend time with the parts of us that are usually on auto-pilot in our day-to-day lives.

About My Clients

I enjoy working with individual adults and couples who are hoping to deepen their understanding of themselves so that they are able to live intentionally and form deeper, more authentic relationships. In the therapy room, we give ourselves time and space to feel, process, and reflect. We may uncover relational patterns or internal maps of the world that have kept us safe for years but that might be preventing us from moving toward aligned lives, or identify strengths we didn't know we had.

My Background and Approach

First and foremost, I work relationally and collaboratively. You will always be the expert of your own experience. My training is in emotionally focused and experiential therapies. The overarching goal of our work together will be to identify your deeper emotional learnings that may be enforcing behaviors, moods, thought patterns or emotional reactions. These implicit learnings may include attachment patterns, rules and roles from family of origin, or traumatic memory. With greater awareness, we will begin to explore these templates and begin to foster deep emotional shifts. With couples, I utilize Gottman couples therapy methods to help you to better navigate conflict in your relationship and to strengthen friendship and connection. We will work to map out and assess different areas of your relationship and identify strengths as well as challenges to navigate using well-researched tools and techniques.
