About My Clients
I support BIPOC individuals, children, and families navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, parenting challenges, and relationship concerns. My approach is client-centered, strength-based, and grounded in active listening and evidence-based practices. Together, we build a path forward that feels authentic, grounded, and hopeful.
My Background and Approach
Hi, I'm Erin Samples, a New York State Licensed Social Worker with over 10 years of experience working with a diverse range of individuals. With a focus on client-centered, strength-based talk therapy, I support individuals in navigating life's challenges and building resilience. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College and a Master's in Social Work from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. I am also a NYS CASAC-T (Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor Trainee) to support individuals in all stages of recovery, along with their loved ones. My passion is creating a safe, empathetic, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. I bring a deep understanding of family dynamics, interpersonal relationships, and trauma. Whether you're facing personal struggles, parenting challenges, or healing from past experiences, I'm here to walk alongside you.
