About My Clients
As a licensed clinician, I focus on meeting with clients who suffer from trauma, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and mood disorders. I also help those who just need someone to talk too about life stressors and life decisions. You as the client knows best. You define what you need in therapy. I am there to motivate you and help you reach your therapeutic goals. I will provide techniques that meet your needs to aid you in your individual healing process.
My Background and Approach
I went to University of Tampa for my Bachelors in Psychology then USF for my Masters in Clinical Social Work. I worked at a mental health hospital as a registered intern and from there got my license and went into private practice for 1 year before opening my own. After 1 year we have expanded to 3 different cities in Florida with 5 employees. I utilize a multitude of therapeutic techniques such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Solution Focused Therapy, Trauma and Resilience Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Together we will reframe negative thoughts into positive ones, learn skills to overcome intrusive thoughts, and learn how to focus on your strengths.
