About My Clients
A few years ago, during one of the hardest times in my life, I found myself crying in my car, singing "Hold On" by Phillip Phillips to get through waves of anxiety and depression. If you’ve been there too, you’re not alone. No matter what challenges you are facing in life, you deserve to feel, heard, seen, and safe. Using a person-centered approach, I’ll support you in making meaningful changes, building resilience, and creating a more grounded, fulfilling life.
My Background and Approach
As a Licensed Professional Counselor with eight years of experience, I work with children, teens, and adults facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief, stress, and family issues. I also specialize in perinatal mental health, military/veteran support, and spirituality. My goal is to help clients navigate challenges with compassion and clarity, then gain skills to create a healthier and happier life. Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, and that’s okay—we’ll go at your pace. I offer a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can grow and feel heard. I’ll always advocate for your well-being because I believe therapy, when done right, can truly change your life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Honesty is key to building a healthy therapeutic relationship. I encourage you to share your feelings openly and without judgment, at your own pace. I understand that opening up to a stranger can be challenging, and it may take time. My promise to you is to provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment. In return, I ask for your honesty and openness. If at any point my approach or personality doesn't feel like the right fit, I encourage you to advocate for a change in treatment. Outside of my professional life, I value honesty, empathy, and the transformative power of therapy. These values guide my work and my commitment to helping you achieve your goals
