About My Clients
Life can change in an instant, and sometimes those shifts leave you feeling unsteady, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to move forward. Whether you’re navigating a major life transition, feeling stuck in patterns of anxiety or self-doubt, or struggling to communicate and connect with others in the way you want, therapy offers a space to slow down and make sense of it all. Together, we’ll explore what’s beneath the surface, help you reconnect with your sense of self, and find ways to move forward.
My Background and Approach
Erin is committed to helping individuals learn how they function & build a strong sense of self. Erin's psychodynamic approach safely encourages you to focus on ineffective behaviors, difficult emotions and explore unprocessed experiences with self compassion. Erin believes in taking a collaborative, culturally informed approach to support clients in reaching their goals & make meaning from their experiences. Erin authentically incorporates clinical modalities to each session using cognitive behavioral therapy, art therapy, DBT and mindfulness skills.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am driven to reduce the stigma of mental health care by making it culturally inclusive and accessible to all. Cultural humility, racial equality and client advocacy for marginalized communities have become deeply ingrained in my therapeutic work ethic. I have made a professional (and personal) commitment to continually learn & grow in these areas to best support my clients.
