Some of these include Psychoeducation; understanding anxiety is a normal human emotion but knowing when it can become a problem. Communication between family members is key. This may include family therapy to help validate emotions and feelings in a safe space.

Expressive Arts Therapy is a therapeutic approach that integrates various art forms such as visual arts, music, dance, drama and writing to facilitate self-expression, emotional exploration and healing. It allows individuals, including young children, to communicate thoughts, feelings and experiences that may be difficult to express verbally. It nurtures creativity, resilience, self-expression and emotional intelligence contributing to their overall well-being and growth.

Sand Tray Therapy is a modality that uses sand and miniature figures or objects to create scenes, symbols and narratives to help represent the client's inner world, emotions, experiences and relationships. This non-verbal approach helps clients process experiences or painful memories that are too difficult to talk about. Integrating mind and body, this tool is a sensory experience that can enhance self-regulation where clients can feel at ease exploring narratives and externalize feelings.

Play Therapy is a widely used approach to address the emotional, social, behavioral and psychological needs of young children. Ways can be through self-expression, emotional regulation, problem-solving, social skills development, creativity and imagination, trauma processing, behavioral challenges, self-esteem and confidence and empowerment and resilience. This approach can also be used to strengthen the child-parent relationships to foster understanding and increase attachment.
