I am a licensed clinical psychologist with experience working in private practice, community mental health clinics, hospitals, family medicine center, and free clinics. I have extensive experience working with adults and adolescents from diverse backgrounds. I have the ability to deeply understand my client's perspective and needs. My therapy is client-centered and I take a strengths-based approach. I incorporate somatic interventions, mindfulness-based interventions, polyvagal theory, ego-state therapy, cognitive-behavioral interventions, as well as other evidence-based interventions. I am trained in EMDR. I feel privileged to support my clients. I have made it a priority to learn about and work in diverse settings throughout my career including working with American Indians, Homeless Youth, LGBTQ+ adolescents and young adults, sex workers, Mexican American adults and adolescents, and many others.
