About My Clients
From the outside, you appear to have it all together. Your inner world is vastly different though, filled with worry, sadness, and self-doubt. Your health is starting to suffer and you are physically and emotionally exhausted. You feel emotionally distant, lonely, and detached. It doesn't have to stay this way, though. Together, I can help you learn the tools you need to cultivate a loving relationship with yourself, foster healthy relationships, and live a meaningful life.
My Background and Approach
Context matters. I am deeply committed to exploring how our environments shape our experiences. I'm dedicated to considering the intersection of my client's identities and environments on their current distress and finding multiculturally informed ways to help them improve their lives. I'm trained as a health and geriatric psychologist. I am deeply knowledgeable about medical illness and how it can manifest in psychological distress. I will partner with you to help you make changes in your life and/or gain greater acceptance of those systemic factors you may be unable to change.
